alliance came about smoothly but looks like there was more to the story than
what meets the eye…
When Shahid Kapoor and Delhi girl Mira Rajput’s wedding
news made headlines most people got talking about how lucky the gal was.
However, it seems like Mira wasn’t exactly thrilled at getting hitched to this
hot looking Bollywood star. Apparently, Ms Rajput wasn’t ready to to marry the
B-town hunk. Yes, heard that right! Our khabroo had informed us that Mira was
hesitant to take things forward with Sasha because of the age difference
between the two.
While one shouldn’t believe everything they hear, in this
case, it’s hard not to as Shahid is 34 and his fiancee is just 20. So if the
latter wasn’t ready to marry the B-town hunk then how did things fell into
place eventually? Well, we have learnt that it was Mira’s elder sister who
convinced her to accept the proposal. Pankaj Kapur’s ladla beta also did a bit
on his part to convince Ms Rajput. That’s what our khabroo told us.
Shahid and Mira met over a year ago and it was the Udta
Punjab actor who asked the 20-year-old for her number. And that’s how the two
continued to stay in touch over the phone. Of course now that they are going to
be happily married we are sure that Shahid managed to win over the lady and get
her to accept his proposal.

Karan Johar’s directorial venture will bank on fireworks
for an exploding outcome…
Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s cast is perhaps the
most exhilarating one. It has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on one hand and Ranbir
Kapoor and Anushka Sharma on the other. We also informed you that Saif Ali Khan
has been signed opposite Aishwarya. Obviously, this film has already peaked
people’s interest in it and now we have the release date. Karan revealed that
the film will release on Diwali 2016.
Karan Johar will be back on the director’s chair after a
long time with the film. He tweeted about the release date saying, “My next
directorial film #Aedilhaimushkil starring Ranbir, Anushka and Aishwarya will
release Diwali 2016…@AeDilHaiMushkil @foxstarhindi.” A lot of information is
out there about the film from it being a remake of a Hindi film called Doosra
Aadmi to its plot line being uncannily similar to Closer.
Well, this definitely is an amazing star cast to begin
with and while Anushka revealed Aishwarya has a different role, the Jazbaa actress
is looking forward to working with Ranbir and her. And we are waiting to watch
all of them together onscreen! Aren’t we, people?
Is Varun Dhawan really crediting his success to
Karan Johar?
The actor’s recent post seemed very much like an expression
of his gratitude!
Bada hai toh behatar hai might
have been a popular notion once, but Karan Johar is here to prove it wrong. I
just got my hands on this adorable little statue of KJo that stands proudly on
his table. While the real Karan was lost in thought, his miniature version was
posing smartly for the cam, which I’m assuming was held by Varun Dhawan since he
was the one who shared this pic on his Instagram account. Adorable as it is,
what caught my interest more than the pic was Varun’s post; it gave the hint
that Varun was expressing his gratitude.
Now we know that Varun has been giving one hit after
another ever since he made his Bollywood debut. So it looked like Varun was
thanking Karan for giving him his launchpad in Student Of The Year,
which was a grand success. After praising KJo, Varun even went on to say that
Karan’s the man behind the success of many people in the industry. Hmmm… true
that!
His post read, “varundvn#theboss though he never behaves
like one this is my new name for @karanjohar the evergreen thinktank behind so
many peoples success also this doll is limited edition.”
I know he tried to lighten the mood towards the end with
his ‘limited edition’ stint, but the real drift here was something else.

Minissha Lamba secretly marries boyfriend Ryan Tham
The Bigg Boss 8 contestant has tied the knot to her
long-time restaurateur boyfriend
Minissha Lamba has been in a committed relationship
with Ryan Tham since quite sometime now. Though there were rumours about the
two tying the knot for quite sometime, the Bigg Boss 8 contestant has
finally got married to Tham in a hush hush ceremony a while ago.
Ryan is the owner of a nightclub – Trilogy in Juhu. We
hear, the Bachna Ae Haseeno actress met her husband through close
friends and they both instantly hit it off. Things soon changed and Minissha
soon started visiting Ryan’s nightclub pretty often. According to reports,
it was Ryan who proposed Minishaa following which the actress quickly accepted
it.
Pooja Bedi who was heading for wedding lunch posted a
tweet saying, Welcome to rhe family @Minissha_Lamba !!!! Hope u and My
brother Ryan have a crazy fun happy loving amazing life ahead! She further
added, “Off with My daughter @AaliaEff and son omar to ryan &@Minissha_Lamba’s
wedding lunch.
Shah Rukh Khan missed the Iftar party and Salman Khan
missed him!
Bajrangi Bhaijaan, it
seems, wanted the Dilwale actor to be there too…
Baba Siddiqui’s iftar party has been the famous HUG sight
for our darling Khans, Salman and Shah Rukh Till two years back, they
would avoid each other on principle so that they don’t bump into each other
making it awkward for everyone else.
But they would always make an
exception during iftar and hug each other at Baba’s do. It had become an annual
ritual.
But things have changed now. Today they can’t stop loving each other
publicly and so, the event this year was all the more important. However, with
Shah Rukh giving it a miss, things were supposed to be a little dull. But when
you have Salman Khan on the house, rest assured no event will be a dull one.
At
the iftar party, our Bajrangi Bhaijaan was missing our Dilwala!
During the media interaction, when Salman was asked about
Shah Rukh Khan, he said that he is definitely missing him. Aww…now that is
really adorable. One missing the other and the world is a better place!
Well, what if Shah Rukh couldn’t make because of his
shoot, there were others who gave Salman company like Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline
Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Daisy Shah and others. Next time Shah Rukh, please make
it to the party and not deprive your and Bhai’s fans with the photos of the
